Last weekend was a bit of an unusual affair radio wise as a general strike meant that it had to be a strictly music affair with no chat or updates - as such we took the opportunity to play a bunch of fresh new music we’ve been accumulating over the past weeks from the likes of Lorn, ARP 101, Cairo, Jon Phonics, Brey, Gerry Read, Jabu, Duncan Powell and Maurice Donovan as well as a few choice cuts from the ace boogie/beats Saturated compilation, then on the Sunday show we took it down a Trouble inspired path with hour one given over to the disco fusion of the Imaginery Hydra Beach mixtape madness, then in hour 2, courtesy of the good people at Red Bull Music Academy Radio we broadcast an amazing live session from Jamie XX recorded live last year at Elevate!
