It was a weird, wet, windy weekend in the Greek capital, nonetheless the record bags were stacked with lots of fresh new music and we battled the elements to bring listeners two more eclectically selected broadcasts end to end with upfront sounds from the likes of MED, Jon Wayne, Loon, Lapalux, Tanka, Hyetal, Darksky, Submerse and many more, then during hour 2 of Sunday’s session to continue the celebrations from the previous day’s International Record Store Day (which we hope you all went out and supported by splashing some cash on quality vinyl at your local independent emporium!), we handed over to one of Phonica’s resident specialists - Mr. Brian G Morrison, who handled proceedings with a lovingly selected hour of dope gems old and new to showcase not only what the record store he represents deals in but also what you can expect to hear in any one of his DJ sets in and around the UK’s capital!
