Another huge weekend of music in Athens kicked off last Friday with the amazing Stingray session down at Bios, to be followed the following night by an incendiary live from the living legends that are Aux 88 as well as fellow Detroit craftsman Patrice Scott mixing some deep goodness - in between which we were blessed with the presence of the Aux 88 duo down at the studio for our Saturday broadcast! We chatted to the pair about their origins, early incarnations, the scene and their careers as well as showcasing their new Black Tokyo release, as you can hear if you click the link for hour 2 below!
Sunday was therefore a necessarily mellow affair with us starting out with an hour of soulful beats and pieces before handing over in hour 2 to Jazz.Gr’s head honcho, Mr. Alex Hobson who gave us a deep, chilled jazz mix to round out the 4 hours of weekend broadcasting.
